Xenia (Xenos=Foreigner) is a tribute to twogreat international varieties planted in the region of Calabria, a compendium of the historical civilizations that have discovered the real treasure of the places named by them Enotria.

• Color: Intense garnet red
• Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 80% CabernetFranc 20%, grown in thewinery of Carolei. Fondo Canale, at 650 mt above see level of altitude.
• Soil: clay and limestone.
• Growing system: Spurred cordon 7,000 plants per hectare.
• Harvest: Second half of September.
• Harvesting method: By hand, in small boxes and selection of grapes in the vineyard.
• Yield per hectare: 80 quintals per hectare after thinning.
  Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless steel temperature controlled with long maceration.
• Alcohol content: 13.5% degrees

Serving temperature and food pairings: 
Serve at 18° C. It goes well with meat dishes, roasts, game and aged hard cheeses

Tasting Notes:
Elegant wine, generous and strong personality, both in red garnet in the fulbouquet and vegetal scents.
The palate is soft, full and velvety.
